Promotion of Collaborative Initiatives for Sustainable Development (SRIJAN-VII) and Success Project
Primary objective of the project is to ensure livelihood security and empowerment of partner community. Following are various interventions carried out during the project -
• Community mobilization and CBOs formation and strengthening in 40 villages
• Strengthening of block level Kisan Seva Samiti (KSS)
• Livelihood enhancement through various interventions such as animal health/vaccination camps, building of water harvesting structures, vocational trainings to women groups etc.
• Quality Education in schools by providing infrastructure such as furniture, sports equipment and so on
• Clean drinking water availability through Tanka construction
• Natural Resource Management through pastureland development, pond deepening and tree plantation.
• Proper sanitation facilities in schools and village
• Eye screening camps
• Engaging women & youth in income generation activities.
The organization is successfully implementing the project in this desert area, where villages are scattered, rainfall is very low averaging around 150 mm., temperature reaching up to 48-49 degree Celsius during summer and scarcity of water with other complexities.
